For birthday parties our artist loves to go all out and create extra magical designs. Each artists can typically can paint up to 10 full face designs in one hour. For half face designs and eye designs an artist can paint up to 20 faces per hour.

What ages do you paint?

One thing I love about face painting is it is suitable for individuals of all ages! I do however tend to paint little arm or hand designs for children under 3 years of age. The manufactures instructions do recommend not painting the face from 0-3 as the skin is not matured at this age, and a rash or allergy may appear.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. Due to overlaps and to ensure your booking is secured a deposit of half the cost is required to secure the booking date and time.

Are the paints safe for my kid?

Yes, each product we use is professional grade and safe clients of any age (recommended age 3 and up).

What does the artist(s) bring?

The artist will arrive with their own table, chair and all supplies needed to for the face paint or glitter tattoos.

How long do the designs last for?

The face paints we use are activated with moisture, therefore I suggest avoiding any moisture near the design if you would like it to keep for a prolonged time.
We recommend the Water Resistant option for designs to stay on longer.

How do I wash off the face paint?

The best way to wash the paint off is using a mild soap and water. Some pigments may leave a slight residue which will fade within a day. We do not recommend using a wipe as this may cause staining to the area.

*Water-resistant face paint can be removed with soap and paper towel, but will not come off with water.

How do you accept payment?

Email transfer (EMT) is the best way to pay the deposit. Cash, cheque or email transfer are the payment options due at the event. A transaction fee of 3.5% applies to all credit card transactions.

For bigger events how many kids can you paint?

For larger events I have a list of designs ready for each to choose. I typically can paint 15-20 kids per hour with simpler yet stunning designs.

Do you paint designs to go with the event theme?

Absolutely! I do ask that you ask for this request when submitting your booking and do give at least a week of notice to allow the practice time needed for new design creations.
